The client had pre-ordered the latest Sony Playstation 5 and wanted to have a totally immersive gaming experience as soon as it arrived.  He commissioned me to specify and install a suitable sound system to complement the 77” 4K TV he’d bought in readiness for the incredible gaming experience of a PS5.

I installed a 5.1.2 surround sound system with all of the cabling hidden out of sight. This was particularly challenging for the overhead speakers. It was not possible to install in-ceiling speakers due to the disruption it would have caused so instead, I installed some carefully angled satellite speakers above the front left and right speakers to drive the overhead sounds to give the Dolby Atmos spatial sound experience.
