I have a passion for technology and making technology simple and work for everyone.
With 18 years of experience of working for financial services and aerospace engineering organisations, I used technology to help companies become more successful using advances in monitoring and automation. These technological advances are now accessible to everyone in our homes.
While working at Rolls-Royce as a product specialist on jet engine monitoring systems, I developed systems that used data from connected sensors on advanced jet engines to improve efficiency and predict issues and maintenance needs before they become a problem. These same concepts can be used within the home to make them run more efficiently, keep them secure and make them more comfortable for us.
I started LAVA with the aim of making these previously specialist technologies available to more people. I see the potential of how these advances can be brought into our homes to make our homes work better for us.
CEDIA is the international trade association for companies worldwide who design, manufacture, and install technology for the home.

CEDIA's ESC-T certification is validation of competence in the fundamentals across a broad range of home technologies. From cabling infrastructure, basic networking, lighting and smart home controls to effective project management and home cinema set up.
